Microsoft Sees the Light - DRM Fix on the Way!

In an interview over on Next-Gen.biz, the general manager of Xbox Live Marc Whitten let loose some great news for those of us with replaced Xbo360s. Coming next month is a tool that will allow gamers to relicense content for new consoles so they can access it while not being signed in to Xbox Live.

Halo 3 Teabags Call of Duty 4

There have been few rivalries as heated as that between Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. Both games have sold extremely well and have garnered loyal, and apparently mutually exclusive fan bases. When CoD4 took the top spot on the Live activity charts last week, fanboys took to the tubes celebrating the fall of Halo 3 but Master Chief isn’t going down without a fight.

Major Nelson has released the Xbox Live rankings for the week of January 14 and it looks like there’s a new sheriff in town. Call of Duty 4 has dethroned Halo 3 as the most played game on Xbox Live. Congrats to Infinity Ward who made no secrets about their intentions to go after Microsoft’s flagship title in the multiplayer arena.

The New Year is off to a pretty lame start as far as new releases go. The Wii gets six $20 games, 4 being racing titles involving rigs, bikes and “Trux” of varying kinds. The only reason Rig Racer 2 got the headline is I never pass up an opportunity to make a Ridge Racer joke.
