| About Stan: Stan(29) ,the Editor in Chief of AltGN.com, resides in Shreveport, LA and works as a systems coordinator for a public safety training program. He lives alone with his two cats, filling the role of "creepy guy" in his neighborhood. When not writing about video games and video game accessories, Stan can be found dabbling in home theater. Stan also serves in the Army National Guard and has been to Iraq, so don’t piss him off. He may be crazy. |
| About Scott: Scott (33) was born and raised in a small town in Arizona. He spent much of his youth stretching the bounds of the law and playing basketball. When he got older he realized that a life of crime was not befitting a man of his great skill and stature; he instead went to school to learn a technical trade. He currently lives in the Greater Phoenix area of Arizona with his wife Amanda, and dog Fred (she’s a girl). He has an awesome son who currently resides in Washington. Scott spends his time helping the homeless, raising money for starving children in Ethiopia, and knitting hats for cancer patients. When not devoting his time to great causes he runs his own Web Design business, dabbles in painting, plays video games, and runs a daycare for adult children at boards.altgn.com. |
| About Rod: Rod just showed up one day at Alt and has since refused to stop coming by. Scott is to blame, as he fed the wayward Canadian, and once you feed them they’ll never leave. Rod drops in from time to time reeking of cheap booze and wearing various bits of hockey equipment, posts an article or two, then disappears… leaving behind an empty fridge and dirty laundry. It’s not clear that Rod actually does anything at all around the site. On those instances when he isn’t passed out half-naked behind the couch he can usually be found scribbling down reviews and articles in crayon on a paper bag (usually from a liquor store) for Scott to later translate into readable English. At the very least, he does help fulfill Canadian content quotas. |

| About Paul: Paul is a proud Canadian resident born in Toronto, Ontario. He is currently embarking upon a Political Science Degree at the University of Waterloo. He is in his final year, living with three of his best buds in a cruddy bachelor pad. Paul has always had a strange attraction to gadgets and considers this as one of his many expensive hobbies aside from gaming. He can always be found carrying at least 3 or 4 devices on him at any given time and shares a strong passion for everything Apple; but is drawn to a good product no matter the maker. His other hobbies include cooking, hockey, soccer and snowboarding. Finally, Paul has a strong taste for beer and considers himself somewhat of an expert on the subject, but is more accurately your typical drunk Canadian hockey dude. GO LEAFS GO! |

| About Ryan: Ryan currently resides in the "exciting" town of Dayton, Ohio. In his spare time he spends too much money on games and movies. He is currently trying to raise enough money to put a down payment on a house. He also "plays" golf when he gets the chance. The term play is used very loosely here, as 3-7 over par is an average hole. |
| About Kev: Kev is the resident gadget whore of AltGN. If Kev doesn’t have it, it doesn’t exist. Kev lives in Southfield, MI, and is currently attending Lawrence Technological University in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. When Kev is not going to class or working, he can be found buying new gadgets, writing web apps for the iPhone, playing his Xbox 360, or writing music (which can be found at DJKev.com). Kev typically posts news stories relating to Geek, Tech, or Gaming. |
| About Kevin F.: Kevin F lives in the Detroit area (Royal Oak to be exact) and his interests are Wine, spirits, food & fine dining and real estate. His hobbies are Apple Computers, videogames and of course, intenets like Altgn.com. Kevin is in the Guild of Sommeliers (wine experts), is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BS in Human Resources and a BA in Sociology. He also completed broadcasting school at Specs Howard in Southfield, MI.He currently works in the restaurant industry and pursues his interests in real estate investing, along with sharing his love of wine with the fine readers of AltGN.com |
| About Matt: Matt is 20 years old and has lived within striking distance of Milwaukee, WI since birth. He spends most of his time at classes in a branch of the University of Wisconsin colleges, where he is majoring in History. He has a fascination with the unknown and enjoys listening to Coast to Coast AM, hoping to one day see something out of the ordinary. His hobbies include playing video games, collecting DVDs, making fun of those guys in college classes that act smarter than they actually are, and figuring out how to hide his enormous collection of comics from any girl he brings home. |
| About Kevin: Kevin, known by his geek friends as either Kwummy or Kum Letters, is 27 and lives in Chicago with his wife and two cats. Involved with marketing ever since he graduated college, Kevin currently works as a Marketing Specialist at a global investment services company. Most of his duties involve managing advertising campaigns, internal and external communications as well as various research projects. He also runs his own site at kwummy.com where he typically can be found ranting about the day-to-day life of living in the big city. |
