What Are Ya’ Buyin? - GT5 Prologue Edition

After last week’s dismal releases, things are looking up, unless you’re a 360 gamer. The biggest release is Gran Turismo 5: Prologue on the PS3, the gorgeous, but limited “preview” of Sony’s upcoming racer. Wii owners can get a wagglefied port the highly rated PS2 game Okami. Those of you who prefer to exchange points for games can get Rocky and Bullwinkle and Battlezone on the Arcade or Mega Turrican and Fantasy Zone on the Virtual Console.
And without further ado, the Shovelware Shit of the Week Award goes to The Sims Kitchen and Bath Interior Design Stuff simply because the title is freaking enormous and if you need an expansion pack because your Sims bathroom isn’t fancy enough, than you fail at life.
Xbox Live Arcade:
- Rocky and Bullwinkle (800 MS Points)
- Battlezone (400 MS Points)
PS3:
- Gran Turismo 5: Prologue
Nintendo Wii:
- Okami
- Summer Sports: Paradise Island
- Emergency Mayhem
- Dream Pinball 3D
Wii Virtual Console:
- Mega Turrican (Genesis, 800 Wii Points)
- Fantasy Zone (Master System, 500 Wii Points)
Nintendo DS:
- MLB 2K8 Fantasy All Stars
- Rondo of Swords
- High School Musical 2: Work It Out
- Cory in the House
- Teenage Zombies
PC Games:
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2
- Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis
- The Sims 2: Double Deluxe
- The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Design Stuff
- Turok
- Final Fantasy XI: Vana’Diel Collection 2008
- Europa Universalis: Rome
- Jack Keane and The Dokktor’s Island
- Dancing with the Stars

Looks like….a good week to save up for GTA IV. With my PS3 not reading discs there’s no point buying GT5P, though that was a marginal one at best, and there’s no fucking way I’m paying $40 to download a demo I can’t trade in later to at least get SOME of that money back.
That’s a big meh.
