What Are Ya Buyin’? - Slice and Dice Edition
By Stan • About: Gaming at 9:05 am on March 25 2008
Let’s go ahead and get this going! Dark Sector, the third person, blade thrower slices onto the 360 and PS3 along with the Viking-inspired hack-and-slash Viking: Battle for Asgard. I enjoyed Conan so I may give Viking a chance. Also on the 360 this week is the cross-platform RTS, Universe at War. The Wii is making its O-face this week with Opoona, Octomania, and Obscure: The Aftermath, all games sent to die after the onslaught of Smash Brothers. The last big release this week is Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP. The PSP has been racking up some big releases lately.
The download games this week are TiQal, the Nightime Sniffling Sneezing Coughing Aching, um, block puzzle game, and a relaunch of Switchball with improved graphics. The original launch was marred with server problems and the game wasn’t set for autodownload or featured in new games. Over on the Wii Virtual console there’s King’s Knight and Powerball.
And that brings us to the coveted Shoveware Shit of the Week. Today’s winner is so elusive, only a thumbnail-sized picture of the boxart could be found. I present you Plushees, the virtual pet simulator whose name conjures up vile imagery of furries. Enjoy while you browse the rest of the list below.

I have Crisis Core and it is decent. Started off pretty shitty but is picking up. I am not a big JRPG guy but I will play through this. It is rather easy but the combat is fun and graphics are REALLY nice.
I doubt I’ll buy anything from this week, ever.
I am getting 2 copies of Plushees just for the name
