Slight Delay For SDK
By Paul • About: Apple at 8:35 am on February 28 2008Many of us were expecting the iPhone SDK to be out by now. Many reports have stated that the SDK would be pushed back a few weeks. Well it seems the date chosen by Apple is March 6th.
MacRumors is reporting that invitations have been sent out by Apple for March the 6th with the possibility of Apple launching the SDK at the event. Nothing has been confirmed however this seems highly likely as the SDK was expected by the end of this month.
Personally I cannot wait for the SDK. My hacked iTouch is packed to the brim with apps. The SDK will only make our apps more stable and polished as well as let us update the firmware. I am sure many people have a PSP which they hack, and the process can get tiresome after a while, always worrying about the newest firmware and whether or not you should update. The ability for us Apple fans to use our device with 3rd party apps, while supported by Apple, is a welcome addition.

Paul is Altgn's token Canadian. When he's not oogling over electronics and Apple he's probably out drinking beer, eating beaver tails, riding moose, watching the leaf game or all the above.

I will probably end up with an iPhone eventually. Hopefully there will be a nice variety of apps available by the time I pick it up.
Canada doesn’t even have an iPhone yet; which I find totally nuts. My contract still has a year and a half so hopefully it will make it up north by then so I can grab one. In the mean time iTouch is all I gotz.
