PSN Thursdays: February 7th
By Ross • About: PS3, Playstation Network at 8:21 pm on February 7 2008This week’s PSN Store update certainly isn’t anything to write home about, but there are a few downloads worth mentioning. The PS1 Classics list adds the 3D platformer Crash Bandicoot: Warped (Crash Bandicoot 3) today, priced at US $5.99. With a 91 overall Metacritic rating and PS3/PSP compatibility, it is definitely one of the better Classic releases thus far. Go! Sports Skydiving is the other full game release this week at US $4.99, however it does not seem to deviate far from the quality of other Go! games, which means that passing on the game this week wouldn’t be the worst penny-pinching tactic you could come up with. If ”frugal” means more to you than just a silly sounding word, check out the demo for Lost Planet: Extreme Conditioning, the early 2007 action 360 game, which makes its debut on the PS3 and combining both the offline and online demos previously released on the Xbox Live Marketplace into one download. A variety of promotional videos, such as trailers, a Burnout: Paradise developer diary, and wallpaper are also available to download for free as well. As usual, Rock Band receives its weekly DLC, with Calling Dr. Love by KISS, We Care a Lot by Faith No More, and Roam by the B-52’s. You can find the full list of this week’s content after the jump.
