New Guitar Hero II DLC Makes You Go Hmmmm.
By Stan • About: Gaming, Xbox 360 at 9:37 am on November 30 2007Red Octane promised the most DLC ever when it came to Guitar Hero 2 and maybe they mean it, even if the content is way late and a few dollars too much. For those of you still playing Guitar Hero 2, the Indie Label Pack II is now on Live for the same 500 MS Point price. It weighs in at 29 megs and has:
“State of Massachusetts” by the Dropkick Murphys
“You Should Be Ashamed of Myself” by The Bled
“Memories of the Grove” by Maylene & the Sons of Disaster
A free HD Trailer is also available. I guess this is cool if you like any of those bands, but I’ll be saving my points for next week’s Rock Band DLC.

too little, too late, too expensive
fans of the genre have moved on to GHIII and/or Rock Band by now
Yeah, they really needed to price this at less than 300 points if they expect to sell very much.
What? GH2? Are they for serious? Suck a dick, Red Octane.
I have not bought any GH3 content yet in hopes they adopt the RB pricing model and structure. I don’t think that will happen but a guy can dream. :(
this will be popular in all the orphanages where gh2 is still played.
