New 360s to have Forza 2 and Marvel: UA as pack-ins

Yay! More 360 skus! It’s being described as a holiday bundle, so I’m assuming it will be available throughout the end of the year, but most likely will disappear as we move into 2008.

Both games are pretty decent and would appeal to a much wider audience than the original Xbox holiday bundle that included Sega GT and Jet Set Radio Future did.

This also comes hot on the heels of rumored Sony Playstation 3 sku that will feature a 40GB PS3 for $399.

An MS press release regarding the new bundle touted the Xbox 360 as the system to buy this holiday season. The full release after the break.

Xbox® is rewarding holiday console buyers this season with two free games! Hot on the heels of a price reduction for all Xbox 360TM consoles, Microsoft is now giving holiday buyers even more value by including two great games with every Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 Elite, a retail savings of $90.

Take the wheel with Forza 2 this holiday.

The acclaimed Forza MotorsportTM 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance will both be included for the recently reduced prices of $349.99 for Xbox 360 and $449.99 for Xbox 360 Elite. Both bundles will be available at your favorite game retailer by the end of October.

Xbox 360 offers the best value this holiday, and Xbox 360 is the only place you can play the greatest line-up of titles in videogame history. This line-up includes Halo® 3, which became the fastest-selling video game ever and is making history as one of the biggest entertainment launches of all time.

Blockbuster Holiday Line-Up
Halo 3 is just one title in an incredible holiday line-up that is only available on Xbox 360. Starting with Madden NFL 08, Xbox 360 has an unprecedented string of no less than seven blockbuster titles, each expected to sell at least a million units, including BioShock, the record-breaking Halo 3, Project Gotham Racing® 4, Mass EffectTM, Guitar HeroTM III: Legends of Rock, and Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare.

Play as a superhero in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Xbox 360 is home to the most critically acclaimed next-generation games according to Metacritic.com, the leading aggregator of game reviews from more than 100 publications. Of the top 30 next-generation game titles on Metacritic.com, 21 are on Xbox 360 and five games exclusive to Xbox 360 have received a score above 90. In fact, Forza Motorsport 2 has received an aggregate review score of 90, producing a “Universal Acclaim” rating.

  1. That’s bullshit, I wanted MUA with my 360, maybe I’d actually ever play the thing if games weren’t 200 dollars a pop to boot.

  2. damn, that’s a pretty good deal for anyone without a 360 yet

  3. Erech buys his games at WE SELL TO IDIOTS. It’s a local store.
